Shorter than other internally threaded anchors, these anchors are capable of attaching to shallow materials with ease. Also known as caulk-in and machine-bolt anchors, they consist of a lead sleeve around an internally threaded zinc cone. When installed, the cone expands the sleeve to hold it firmly inside the hole.
